Default Tracker Query

hi all

has anyone had a tracker removed from one car and re installed into another?

i have an RAC trackstar plus fitted to MY 05 and alas it is being traded in for something horribly sensible next weekend .

Insurance on the new MPV doesnt require a tracker so i dont actually need to transfer it. BUT i dont want to give it to the dealer when i could possibly even sell it and transfer the subscription.

Anyone taken a tracker out and sold/transferred it to a different vehicle?

cheers in advance

J

Yes with the RAC trackstar you can move it from one vehicle to another.

removal can be done yourself, but fitting will need to be done by an authorised dealer, and I would suggest removal also by a dealer just to make sure all the required bits are removed..
