Question why do the indicators not work any more on my clifford concept 300?

Just recently the indicators have stopped working when you press the alarm to open and shut the doors, they also dont go off when the alarm goes off now which is not good. Sometimes the beeps dont work when using the remote to open and shut the doors. The beep thing has been doing this for a few months now and I just disconnect the battery and re-connect for a while and it sorts that out, but its the flashing indicator problem I am more worried about. Has any one had the same problem? I know there is loads of options with the alarm but as far as I know I have not adjuted anything, and surely re-setting the alarm would make them work again? but its not. The model is a clifford 300 concept, help anyone?

There's a separate fuse for the indicators located near the "brain". I'd go for that first.

Sorry mate have not got a clue what that means. The alarm is a standard concept 300, had it on the car 5 years this november never been messed with at all. The only thing I have been doing lately with it is disconnect the battery to try and re-set the alarm. At the moment there are no chirps when arming the alarm and no indicators flash when arming either and no indicators when the alarm goes off. Hope this helps and am hoping you can help to

Is it Cat1. Youre supposed to get them serviced every year AFAIK. At least my alarm has a service record at the back of the destruction booklet. Might be worth a shot.

Not sure, an educated guess would say they'll check everything over that was installed. Bit like a diagnostic check on it, test all the sensors work etc. I presume. My advise is, if you got it fitted, ring the company that did it. Really the only option, they lnow their own work. Hope you get it put right.

I'd second that at this point, I think you need to have it looked at by a professional. Remember though, if it was you who had the alarm fitted, Clifford alarms carry a lifetime warranty (on parts).

Thumbs up

lifetime warranty (on parts).

Thats what i like to here! but I bet its only if you get the service every year. Only thing is that the lad that fitted it sold the company and is know working for the AA! I will still give him a ring any how and hope that the parts are under warranty still, fingers crossed.

Thanks again for all the good advice chaps.

The warranty will be coverered by any Clifford dealer, as teknobod said, only on some parts though. As for getting them checked over every year it is advised to do that but not essential. The reason I asked about the channel outputs etc still working is because they are all linked from the same driver chips on the PCB.

Hopefully getting it sorted soon, Been told from the guy who fitted it, it will be a source from the controller to the indicators, so hopefully will be fixed soon? Free back to the top as well. fingers crossed.
