I have been looking for some sort of an apprenticeship/training in alarm fitting or installing sound systems (cars). I have been unsuccessful in finding anything relevant to help me in my search for a foot in the door in these careers until I found this website today. I wondered if anybody is taking trainees or knows of any training programmes that I could participate in.

I am a serious 20 year old who is willing to learn but have no previous history but some basic knowledge and common sense. I am currently living in the Brent area (North West London) but have accommodation in the Croydon area (South East London) and am willing to move to pursue my career. Try speaking too alarm installation company's, and also writing to the main alarm suppliers, clifford, toad,etc and explain your situation to them. If no good you may need to go on a motor vehicle electronics training programme at your local college, but very good luck and keep on trying.Keep on pestering firms so that they know you are serious.

very good luck to you mate ,not enough people follow there dreams,stick with it and you will get there,my first port of call would be sextons i know they have done apprenticeships in the past.dont be fobbed off by the first person you see ask for the manager and if he doesnt help get the number of the head office,be polite but confident and dont take no for an answer good luck
