Choice is really down to Tracker (monitor) or RAC Tracstar I'd of thought.
You need to find out what your insurance company will accept. Do a search on here - this has been discussed countless times before.

Be careful buying the cheapest tracker - mine came with a Tracker Retrieve which I thought was great - but no insurance company was interested, they insisted on a Tracker Monitor minimum.

You need to ask the insurance company how much difference it will make - pointless spending £500 to save £50, unless of course they are way cheaper and insist on a Tracker.

the only insurance companies that would quote me anywhere under 3 grand to insure my WRX where the likes of tesco etc, and they all insist on one. RAC trackstar plus was my choice and didnt get much change out of 500 quid. but now pay just under 1000. and get speed safe too.

not that i ever even use it...lol

I have just re-insured mine and only had a couple of hundred pounds seperating cheapest with tracker quote over no-tracker quote.

After past experiences wont waste money buying such things again.
Norwich Union direct dont demand a tracker and werent that bad on price compared to the others, for my car they wanted £1600 ish.

I have been forced to stay with L&V at £1153 though as the number of mods I have now are causing problems as companies are once again shying away from insuring modded cars, most anyone would accept was 3 mods :-(

Privilege insurance would price match, BUT wanted a tracker, so thats not exactly a price match when I need to shell out 00's on a tracker!

edited to add the L&V do now not even accept mods if a new customer
