Default Northampton Security Warning

We are currently suffering a spate of performance car thefts.

They are breaking into houses to get the keys. They tryed my house last night, my scooby keys are well and truely hidden so they took my wife's Focus.

B******s........... Car still no where to be seen..........

Hi guys, I have not PM'ed as i guess others need to know about the problem.

The problem area's are Hunsbury, Colingtree, Grange Park and Wootton areas, whats that SE Northampton i guess? In the last month i am awaire of 2 merc's, a Evo, a 5 series BMW, 2 Focus ST170's and my wife's special edition Focus TDCi Sport. I think they were after my Scooby but i guess it could of been the Focus, at the end of the day it is worth far more than my Scoob as it was nearly new.

In each and every case they entered the house at night to get the car keys, very worrying.....

Sad as this sounds... this happened last year in the Duston area.. Took a blokes keys from his house and left with nothing else except his Terzo. This happened at night as well while he was asleep.

looks like whoever had the first ones away, they are now going for it again, this time of year as well when people have a tendancy to leave windows open. This is where they make their move.

I was in the habit of making sure mine was at the top of the drive with plenty of cars in front of it.. but if they want something that bad. they will get it no matter what.

It was 2 - 2:30AM, we were sleeping, never heard a thing. They got in through the locked front room window, lifted the keys and left..... With our Focus..... Did not touch anything else....

House alarm was off as we were home, stupid i know. We have a new multi zone alarm fitted now, covers entire house and garage..... It's on 24/7 now even if we are home during the day.....

My Cousion and my Aunts car were stolen recently from Wollaston, Northamptonshire. They broke in through the rear patio door took the keys which were in the kitchen and off they went.

We have decent house alarm and "Harvey" who has nice large teeth!
