Default Dogs have eaten my keys

Does anyone know where I can get a new transponder without paying the subaru dealership an arm and a leg.

My dads old BMW transponder is identical so they must be a fairly standard equipment.

Andy

PS my g.f. thinks I have just made the word "transponder" up to sound smart, apparently the word "remote" would have sufficed. Tch ! women !! she might be right but I dont want to be told that !!

Wait for them to defaecate and retrieve the transponder. By the way, that's not the same as the alarm fob. You have to be quick getting the canine stool because dogs are reputed to eat their own faeces. That could be the beginning of an infinite regression......

Dude - just kick the dog everytime you want to de-activate the alarm... that'll sort it LOL

LOL

Yep, my dogs do that too but it is cheaper than paying for dog food and they remain well fed. But what is this "key fob", that cant possible be the name of a piece of high tech equipment, it doesn't have nearly enough syllables. FOOL !!!

True though, a transponder is just a device that auto transmits a signal to disarm a alarm/immobiliser, the remote/fob has buttons on it, so strictly speaking your missus is correct.

anyone seen gone in 60 seconds? just wait for it to **** it out, laxatives maybe? lol! A transponder is the bit in the key itself that doesnt have any batteries, it has a code in it that doesnt need any hard power, and is self contained, if you dont have the right one in your key, you cant start your car (only applicable to post 97 european cars)
