can anyone help an impreza virgin?
i've been offered a turbo timer for my '94 wrx but i can see a little problem arising!
the anti-hijack feature of my alarm will open the doors when the turbo timer shuts down the engine, won't it
is there a way round this? (turning off the anti hijack?)

Ah I forgot about passive arming, I was going to suggest that you'll need to arm the alarm when you get out the car anyway - but it arms itself after 45 secs anyway without locking doors. Pisser but
You can turn it off permanently mate - I think its on the control box. I'll find out tomorrow how to do it if you want. I'm off to WD40 my turbo bolts now - decat tomorrow night!!! woooooooooopppppppppppppppeeeeeeeeeeeee

Just had a Ai606 installed this week, no control box on mine.
the way to access setup is by switching the ignition on/off 3 times then I think you need the pin code before changing any settings, which is done with the remote.
It's all a bit confusing but I'm sure the Hi-jack mode can be turned off
