Disklok on Watchdog
A colleague of mine seems to believe he saw an article on Watchdog about Diskloks only having 112 key permutations. They apparently ran a test whereby 112 different keys were tested on a large number of different Diskloks and in each case one of the keys managed to open it.
Anyone else see this report? I believe Disklok are denying it, and I too find it hard to believe seeing as it has Thatcham certification.

Even if it does that's still gonna take longer to get it off than most similar products.
Any links to the article? Sounds like interesting reading. Perhaps we should organise a scooby/disklok meet and check this theory out ourselves. It'll be interesting to see what Disklok have to say if this can be proved.

Not sure about that with the keys but i know my mate lost his key to his disklok (to far away from home for someone to fetch spare key)about 3 years ago and it took the AA 30mins with a hammer and chisel!! Thats good enough for me!!!!

It took Autocar 112 seconds to remove a disklok
(and not too noisy either apparently) but its still about the best there is for that type of device

I've got a 4TRESS, really easy to use too. According to the website it's soon going to be available with Thatcham Cat 3
