cheers Dave, are they worth waiting for? i mean getting now and waiting for the cat 1 they are cheaper than equivalent g4 alarms on car alarms uk's website or should i just get a toad Ai606 with dual zone proximity sensors?

I've only ever had Clifford, and never had a problem with 6 cars that have had Clifford kit on them. IMHO, it's down to installation...
Whatever you go for, the brand of alarm isn't as critical as the installer who installs it - go for the best installer you can find based on personal recommendation.
Cheers,
Nick.

THe installs were always done by Max at maximum impact. He's moved on to pastures new, but Maximum Impact still does a cracking job.
I would recommend them without hesitation.
