BLACKJAX
#1
I have now got my blackjax in but it won't work keeps rearming itself all the time, spoke to installer and going back on wednesday to be fixed. He said it might require a diode as there me be current going to earth all the time from the door circuit. Any one else had any probs like this? Also I expected the LED to flash when car is parked up but it doen't, is this correct?
But apart from that had clifford window closing and tilt sensor added to the alarm and they work a treat.

With Blackjax as a stand alone unit the led will flash if you turn on the imobiliser option then it will flash 30 secs after you turn off the ignition.

In 'normal' mode (without auto-immobilise) the LED will not flash.
Best to leave auto-immobilise off IMHO incase the worse happens (ie nutter jumps you as you are about to get in your car and then he tries to start but has no ignition, so then systematically shoots each of your knee caps etc off until you enter the code).
In normal mode car will start but you will need to enter the code before you get too far down the road.
