Is standard security adequate?
Been thinking recently about getting something more added, security wise.
How good is the Subaru Alarm/Immobiliser on a MY03WRX?
What are the best upgrades/additions - are they needed?
I already have Tracker but like most, would rather it wasn't needed!

Disclok (that covers entire steering wheel) would be a good investment as would something like a Blackjax system.
Both are relativly inexpensive and highly rated.

it also depends on when and where you use your car. Mine's on a secure car park all day and I still put the disclok on
Aside from the disclok it's totally standard security.
If for example you left it outside all night, in a dodgy place, worked in a dodgy place, and visited dodgy places then I would get all the security you could afford!!!
Start with a disclok though (someone mentioned £45 at Costco) as it's a really good visual deterrent and is well easy to use.
If you're talking about in-car 'security' then an aircraft grade aluminium MagLite is the way to go... Apparently.
