Can you recommend anyone to fit Cliffords in the south east, preferably if they are mobile?

A lot of people recommend Motorguard in Birmingham. They deal with a lot of scoobys and know what they are doing. There details are on their web page here

GAP fitted my Clifford, did a great job.

I guess it's the same as any company, they have good and bad fitters. At least if you get a large company like them to fit your alarm you've got some comeback if there's something goes wrong.

It total I paid £495 for a Concept 300 but I also got full closure fitted, one of those funky blue LEDs, headlight flash and my folding mirrors on the keyfob too.

Oh yeah, and they took out my old immobiliser too included in the price.

Took them a whole day to fit the alarm system, and they came back a week or so later to fit the blue LED (they weren't available when I originally ordered).

I can't complain, they've been excellent to me.

Another one here saying stay away. They fitted my Tracker, and to me everything seemed fine. That was until one day (well actually middle of the night) I went to come home from a karting event, and the car was immobilised. After a call to Subaru Assistance, I got recovered back to my house at 3am on the back of a low loader (long story behind this as well! ).

The car was then recovered to a local dealer the next day for them to investigate further. They looked in to it and said that the main fuse for the car had blown. This is something, they claim, never goes and they tracked it down to the Tracker.

I therefore phoned Tracker, who sent there Technical Director (I complained quite a lot , for other reasons again that I will not go into). The Technical Director then said that it was the worse installation he had ever seen, and that there had been lose wires left all over the place. One of which caused the main fuse to blow. Thankfully he repaired it all, and they picked up the bill for the car hire that I required whilst the car was off the road. He commented that he would be charging all the costs back to GAP, as he was not at all impressed with their work.

Therefore I strongly recommend you stay away from them.
