i havent seen an import with security either.

Just give Dr CLifford a call and get one fitted nice and cheap and meets insurance approval!

depends on the car and imported from where all newish cars 99> had to have an immobliser to pass ec type approval.

if the car is sourced from japan or cyprus then there will be no security this is simply because car crime DOESNT EXIST in these countries like the UK.
I live in cyprus and u could leave your car unlocked all day long with open windows and it will still be there 8 hours later!!!!!!!!!

Is it normal for import Scoobs to have no security fitted at all?
Not even an immobiliser?

Im on my second import now, apparently without security, and am having big trouble trying to find insurance without any security
One company even said "surely it should have an immobiliser on it as standard?" etc...
They couldnt believe it had nothing at all...
