will not disarm, unlocked the car manually still nothing. tryed spare keypad, no good. anyone got any ideas.

no, tryed it every hour or so all day. suddenly worked about 4. disarmed but will not arm again.

If your code is eg.. 1234 First turn on your ignition then press the * side of the button eg. 1 times then press the blank side to enter it follown by pressing the * side eg 2 times followed by the blank side to enter it so on
When you have entered the last number you ignition will come on

sods law. it disarmed with the keyfob this time, left it till the ignition would not come on then tryed entering the valet code to check it. nothing happened. can the valet code only be used when in alarm situation. asked because when filling up with petrol i dont lock the car and when returning put the ignition on and press the keyfob, it sometime takes four or five go's. can't the valet code be used in this situation. sorry it's abit long winded.
