Wifie has a 2002 MX5 1.8i to which I am trying to add keyless entry. The car has central locking and deadlocking with alarm (OEM) both doors have actuators.

There are loads of systems and information about for a pre 2001 car but not for the new face lift model, they would appear to be different.
I have bought a Keyless kit which has 300ma -ve outputs and have managed to find the door locking module under the dashboard on the drivers side, but cannot find the right connections. I have been advised that this may be the wrong kit.

There are no wiring diagrams about for this model......I'm stumped.

Cheers

Give me a ring during office hours on 0113 2441448 and I'll explain how you can interface your keyless entry kit with the Mazda locking unit.

Regards,

Max

Got your mail, sent you one back with the dodgy picture of my drawing which I assume you received. Hope you've had chance to try it out. Let me know how you get on.
