Hello,

I’ve got a Sigma S32 that’s stopped working - it’s stopped sounding when arming and doesn’t make a sound of the alarm is activated (just flashes the indicators).

I’ve taken the siren to bits and there is no sign of any water damage, in replaced the backup battery (that wasn’t cheap!) and still no good

im assuming the siren has failed.

Checking eBay there is only a couple of M30 sirens for sale. Does anyone know if an M30 siren will work with a S30 series alarm? The unit looks identical and appear to have the same 3 pin connector.

 

Why not contact sigma? I'd like to think all sirens work like speakers and have a live neutral and earth.

 

A UK car should not officially sound on arm/disarm, just flash the lights.
