Andy

some good times there m8...are you going the next one on 10th March??

Think I'm 2nd quickest scoob behind yours...

13.326 ET -0.313 Reaction -2.05 60Ft -107.4 mph

Even managed a 13.9 when my pipe blew off the dump valve

Need to lose some ballast for the next one...ICE, rear seats, spare wheel etc.

Richie

12.8 @ 111 MPH best on Crails still slippy surface.
My performance meter, which seems very accurate, tells me I've done a 12.62 @ 114 on the road (er I mean private road !)

Few tricks up my sleeve for next time

Dave

Yea hopefully it will be a bit quieter on the 10th ??? Re weight loss, I see no mention of passenger ejection Joke joke honest !

U r ratios must be even bloody shorter than mine m8 how the hell d u manage to change up fast enough?
Think i found a fault in my rear suspension yday (goin by the rubbing marks halfway down my sidewalls ) new springs thinks me, so no phun on the oval Roll on the wallet ache.
Never had a chance 2 get a butchers below the bonnet of u r s maybe nxt time though eh. Tell u wot though u got me thinkin bout what we were talkin bout, injection wise

Short ratios yep, it's no motorway cruiser that's for sure

1st max 38 @ 7k (same as WRX/UK)
2nd max 55 @ 7k
3rd max 73 @ 7k
4th max 94 @ 7k (same as UK 3rd)
5th 135 @ 7k (same as UK 4th)....... gets there quick though

It will pull to the limiter (155 @ 8k) in top but only done that once

Seem to spend more time changing gear than on full throttle ! 2nd gear lasts just over 1 second !

May be up for sale soon as I fancy another 6 litre V8 mid-engined build up. This time with twin turbos and an Audi TT Kevlar bodyshell
Target P/W ratio 1000bhp/tonne.

Last car had a problem with traction at Crail but that new surface is going to be much better once it's got some rubber down

Richie, How did your car go ? I was looking out for you but never managed to see you. What was your number ?

Don't want to upset anyone (as I do in Drivetrain ) but my W/Inj system was up and running for around 100 quid with parts sourced from Camco 88.
Not sure if your car would benefit so much Pete, having a Pace FMIC keeping things cool however if you add some Alcohol to the mix then you can increase your fueling. This may be of more use to you if, like mine, your injectors are close to maxing out ?

If you add methanol to the water injection mix then the octane is raised as well. I think its 103RON or 113 RON that Methanol has so it will raise the Super Unleaded (97RON) to around 99RON which is nice

Cheers Andy,

Any chance of a parts list? I remember now that when i spoke 2 u, u did say u had made the system up
Now lookin at the idea 4 real so i can run a bit more advance (as 1 does ).
Injectors yeah i`m in that boat bud, the last log we did they were as well being hoses (wide open). Think at 1 point we hit around 110 % cycle. Seems to be the early models jus have small injectors And 2 make it worse they`re not compatible with the uk 1s, as we found out after Dave took one of my rails off to fit a bigger set from a Legacy
I`ll need 2 ave a gas with u bout this n that some time bud, if not b4 then set some time aside nxt crail 4 a gas

When I fitted the 803 greens to my Cosworth and remapped it, it was like Night n Day. Big all round ! 335bhp at 20 psi !Easily and reliably
Just wish they fitted Scoobs
Are you sure it's just scoob scalps ur after That quite a set up you're getting together there What MAP sensor do you use ?
BIG turbo next

Pete - I'll pull a W/I parts list together for u.

Na just looking for a good reliable 20psi overboost and 16-ish psi normal which should be good for around 280BHP and about 300lb/ft-ish of torque.

Looking at stuff for Winter tho to allow more as well as an uprated KKK K-16 turbo with secret internals sourced from alternative cars

We'll see what happens......

The MAP sensor is a 2.5bar absolute unit within the UniChip boost module. This takes the boost control from the standard ECU and lets the UniChip run it.

The unichip will also run a 3D map with the water injection tomorrow using load (boost) and engine speed (RPM) to decide how much water in injected.

Will let you know what I get tomorrow or Thursday as its being mapped tomorrow (unless anyone is near Thornton and wants to nip in ??).

AM hoping to run at CRail on 24th March (busy on 10th) but, if I miss the 24th, then I will definitely be at the next one.
