Ok guys my Scoob is SOLD and the cheque gets deposited Monday morning. Iam not going to kick start this old chestnut
I test drove an EVO7 on Saturday morning and boy was it impressive, however I test drove the STI7 on Sunday afternoon and boy am I hooked.
Its Scooooobbbyyyy all the way I am pleased to say. Its also easy to see why Sam went for the EVO, awesome but the Scoobs my kind of car.
Only problem now is where to buy. I have been offered a non prodrive for £25K but its a demonstrator. Its either that or wait till July.
Anybody else got any other ideas or know of a specific STI7 for sale.

Dave if you want a Subaru dealer supplied car then use their website and find what you want via there. Call some dealers as well and ask there stock levels.

If you are going down the import route and more BHP than the UK version, try Warrenders (One in stock), Ralliart (one in stock).

Basically search the net, trawl through Autotrader online as this will list what is available UK wide under their search engine, giving both greys and 'proper versions'

Happy hunting

Cool

Have you tried John Spicer at S & S services in Ayr. I have a Prodrive STi7 on order from him. I know of two lucky buggers who are getting theirs in March and I am hoping to get mine in April/May.

I converted from AF Nobles after he gave me a great trade in quote and a really good finance rate.

Johns number is 01292 880080...

[no relation etc etc just a happy customer]

Dave,

depending on the dealer the demonstrator came from, I'd be a bit wary. If you want a standard one, then you'll have to wait until May (more like June) for delivery, as the next batch for the UK isn't being made in the factory until March, and by the time they get built, shipped to the UK, clear customs, get prepped, delivered to dealers, it could easily be June.

However, Prodrive style ones can be had earlier, as there are still stocks in the UK (though apparently these are dwindling fast now, and there may not be any Prodrive style ones until next year!).

I'd agree with what Willie said, and give Mr Spicer a call at S&S, and tell him that we sent you. I collect my one this weekend hopefully

John

I think S&S got their demonstrator late last week, so it was probably that one you saw.

Dave, looks like we were too late in trying to save you

One day you'll see through the mist and discover the darkside is the path to happiness.

Looking forward to seeing it
