hi Sam,
spoke to a few Evo owners, who like us went up to see if they could risk going out but decided not too.one was an RC Development EVO7 which should be at the top marque events.
Chris,
these guys are nuts and show no fear,pi55ing rain and they run slicks.
tried to time a few cars in the dry but the track seemed very busy to time a clear run.hi power, stripped out escort cossie was about 60secs,a citroen AX that could have taken a few scooby scalps was about 65secs,a sunny gtir was about 66secs.

eheh, but as you notice it still dont stop me posting on here
If I have to sit in front of a computer all day for 12 chuffin hours then I might as well break the boredom a bit by posting on here and other places..... another few weeks and I'll have looked at the whole internet

John,
Like Sam said we were busy 2 day wiv big red m8, by the time we finished were totaly cream crackered. It`s a wise move not 2 go on with the H/H crowd goin by some of the horror stories of last year bud. Keep it 4 the top marques (or Crail nxt Sunday)

Pete,
was looking at the clip of you doing donuts at Crail, well impressed at powering out rather than the usual stopping before gently driving away ,what gear do you use?could be tempted to have a go on the oval but do not have deep enough pockets to do the drag .

John,
I 4got John had that clip The thing with powering out is if u r pointing the wrong way u hear wot I`m saying
An when doin 360`s it can be pretty confusing on the senses.
Normally dnut in 2nd & come out in 3rd, when starting from a power slide in2 the dnut. If stationary jus go 4 it in 1st
Took me a wee whilst 2 get the bottle 2 do it, then I went out with ***** (own`s Crail & nutta driver) after that took 2 it like a duck 2 water. It`s like riding a bike, 1nce u done it u jus get bored of it & start lookin 2 adlib

If you're gonna try the donuts, make sure you've got plenty gas in the tank.Fuel surge usually spoils my fun..get about 6 spins before it starts spluttering.Oh, and watch how hot it gets, i managed to melt & pop the plastic boost pipe under the IC last year.Luckily someone had some black tape handy....had to drive home not using any boost .
And watch out for the tyres....hard to judge where they are when youre spinning round like crazy.1st gears good for on the spot, but you canny beat the 2nd gear ones for mad g-force (sick bags at the ready)
