I'm going to get the windows on my RB5 tinted so I'm looking for a company in central scotland to do it. Any info would be grand.

What kind of price are you looking at for the side windows and rear ?

 

Probably £150-350 at a guess.

The side windows are easy done, magma remove the window glass, apply the tint & refit.The rear window is the tricky bit because of the curve in the glass and takes time to get a perfect result.

BTW watch out for the legality of the tint grade applied to your front side windows.Our local police have a meter for checking the opacity & can charge you if its too dark a tint.

The rear side & rear windows can be tinted as dark as you like.The above companies should keep you on the right side of the law.

I'd personally recommend Magma they are excellent and very proffesional they have done both my astra and lately my Vectra as well as numerous other cars and have a contract to window tint Glenvargills cars. All tints come with a full gaurentee. As for legality on you front side windows no less than 35% is legal.

 

i have a mate who stays in dunfermline, he works for toad and does ice installs for Skidz in falkirk.

he does window tints, and did mine for about £100. if you aint happy wiv it, he does it again!!!

 

think you will find that the legal limet is 33.33%
