Lo folks,

Have been annoying Shell for details of when Optimax will be available up here and they have told me that:

Details of the locations of the service stations stocking Shell Optimax will be available by the end of January 2002.
and that
Details of its availability will be broadcast in advertisements and in the media.
As soon as I have any details I'll let you know

Cairn Lodge, Junction 11 M74 25 miles south of Glasgow is the closest one as far as I'm aware.

Or, Abington, 10 miles south of Biggar if you fancy a nice run from Edinburgh !

Both up and running on Optimax, just been !!

Any news about when the places west of Glasgow are getting it ?? I know they have a rather large petrol station at Glasgow Airport and they recently installed LPG so hopefully they will get Optimax soon.

Anyone ??

Thumbs up

Thanks for the info Cosie Convert, popped down today, and got me first full tank of Optimax. It feels a hell of a lot quicker, or is that just psychological, because I think I've put some good petrol it my car.

Cool

Hi,

Super has a RON of 97.
Optimax's RON is 98.6 i think.
Compared to normal unleaded's 95 RON.

Cheers,

Kosy.
