Hi all,

Just trying to gauge some interest in a meeting in Aberdeen this coming Sunday (9th December) afternoon. The idea is just to have a get together, have a chat, get some photos taken (Steve from the P&J will hopefully be there to do the honours), and possibly/optionally go for a few beers and a curry afterwards.

Suggested venue is the Torry Battery, so we could get some scenic sun-set shots with the city in the background (if it isn’t snowing!) in the late afternoon.

If we meet up later on in the day, then it will give you time to get out of bed, have lunch, do some Xmas shopping etc first.

Hopefully the weather will be ncie, and we'll see lots of you there. I probably won't be there until about 3pm(ish), but I think a few people are thinking about meeting up earlier, and perhaps have a run somewhere...

It's on the way to the lighthouse at Nigg from the Aberdeen harbour side. It overlooks the harbour area from the south side.

cheers I should be able to find it no bother now. I just hope my wheels are ready tomorrow!. I was hoping to get them back today but they had just been lacquered and getting baked. So hopefully they will be ready in the morning and I'll get the car out for a run as its been in the garage for three weeks!!

My apologies for not attending today. I have just emereged from my bed after suffering from the dreaded mega flu! I am totally gutted that I did not make it as I was looking foward to meeting everyone.
We will have to have another meet after Christmas, as I promised Mike (P&J Your Car writer) that I would provide him with some pics for a new motorclub column he will be writing in the New Year.

No worries, Steve... It was fricking cold - not the best thing for the 'flu. Well what did we expect meeting in Aberdeen in December .
Not a bad turn out for a "mini-meet". 4x 5drs and 8x 4drs (& Charles in his 205GTi!).

just to say how much I enjoyed meeting all you guys + your cars yesterday. Hoped to get the photos I took posted last night, but Costco closed at 5.

Good news - the bits I said had dropped off, they're still there, but I'll need to patch those trousers.

Funny after hearing some of your stories, I seemed to be driving a lot quicker on the way home.
