Yes , I think so . Nothing to lose but an ear bashing if I ding it.

Last time I was on Kames track was in my old mk2 escort rally car, so it will be interesting to see the difference. What direction is it being run as the last time I was on it anti-clockwise was a single venue rally about 10 years ago and it was totally different !!

I'll get to meet you yet! So I'll probably see you at Kames. Do you still want those wheels? They've been discounted now if you're still interested. E-mail me when you can.

Cheers

Sorry not to get back to you. I have bought a set of 17" P1 wheels. I still have my old 16" with a few mm left which I am going to use at Kames ( if it is dry). I may still be interested in yours at some stage as I am considering a competition car , self build possibly.

George, no one has discussed the direction of running yet, my personal preference would be reverse. What do you think ? Ideally swapping directions at mid day would be ideal, but I'm not sure about the feasability of this. I'll mention it to Stan.

Yes , both directions would be good but if single rotation , I personally would prefer clockwise as belting up the straight to the hairpin requires mega braking as I went round last week as a passenger in a suzuki 1300 engined nova and it took a bit of slowing down. More exciting I know , but I dont want to wrap it !!

John Stewart is organising, I'm doing the EACC bit. As far as I know there is already a fair interest. We'll be talkin soon re details. As you now George the number of cars that can be run is fairly limited (assuming you want a few goes on track).
I think V Soon interested parties will have to be polled. I have thought of S&S. John may well approach them.
