Thanks - I am really looking forward to making a bit of noise. Next stop Hepworths in Bathgate for some underlay to line the boot

As for your 10%..... no commission on emission

Will call you tomorrow as I head back.

No point phoning Keith,

I'll not be able to hear you over the horrific drone I have asked them to engineer in - the one which goes away only over 6000 RPM. Also the rattling as it thumps against your rear diff. at every gear change and the creaking on its mounts as they are squint - all extras they are adding without my 10% commission!!!

Make sure you get the good green underlay - not the cheap black stuff

Wagon to the rescue there!

Ask them to give you the back box only and dump the pipe work - they can make you up new stuff if you ever need it back on. Alternatively leave it with them and they can store it somewhere - or if you speak VERY VERY nicely to Campbell he may deliver it somewhere in the pickup - but don't hold your breath

You can borrow my STI back box in the garage if you ever need it desperately.

Just thinking again there Keith,

Open you ski hatch thingy in the middle of the back seat, put the long length of pipework through that and the back box it the boot - it will certainly fit that way. I take the 02 STI has that hatch bit?

Brian.

Cheers for the offer Dougster.... I may well take you up on that if C and C are happy to store it for a wee while. I can get across in the wifes Focus at some point... I don't mind putting a grubby exhaust in her car. It's covered in crap anyway.

Yes it has got the hatch thingy, I dont want the inside of the car to get dirty though .... The wife's, well it'll hardly be noticed amongst the half eaten apples, sweet papers, fruit shoot bottles, happy meal toys, broken lipstick eyeliner and anstacia CD's

Red face

ANASTACIA - ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! KILLLLLLLLL!!!

Make sure you drop the back box, end first on the CD!

The focus is black inside anyway - no difference with a bit of oil and crap!!! Just don't hit that plastic gearknob or it will smash.

Johnny,

I think his car will be in most of the day so your timing may well be ideal for Keith as the exhaust will be off in 5 minutes courtesy of the electric saw

Johnny,

Thanks for the help. I'm sure you'll be impressed with what Campbell and Cameron can do. I have a cat back 3 " pipe and new bb with 4.5" slash tail, burnt tip. looks and sounds brilliant IMHO. The car now sounds like a scoob.

Noise off with Brain tonite at the Blaeberry ha ha

All that noise that did it - maybe you should ask missus S if you are losing the plot?!?

Second thoughts, best not!

Think we know the answer to that one. One good thing though, she says it too loud and she's not going in it "

Result - send C&C an extra £10 for a drink!!!

After travelling 1300 miles in a week in the Scoob, Julie was not really bothered about it and I am sure it has quietened down a bit as it has got a few thousand under its belt. You backbox being a tad different - it may get EVEN LOUDER!!!

I am quite happy with mine - was going to get a small in line silencer fitted but have decided not to - if it ever gets annoying then I will. Annoying for me that is - F&*K others!!

Gave my mum and dad a lift the other day in it - they now commonly refer to it as the "Twin Tub"!!

Sounds like another result from C&C. I bet it now sounds the danglies

Your on the slippery slope. I'm hopefully getting mine fitted tomorrow as at the moment it sounds more like a dishwasher, compared to a twin tub.
