I wasn't there but heard some poor guy wrapped his brand spanking FQ330 into the tyres after Duffus ( on 1st lap )

No doubt more details on the Lancer register

Never saw the episode, but saw the tyre tracks in the grass leading to the wall on my way round. Possbily could have been due to cold tyres as it was his first lap, or he could have just been poor driving/panic. who Know's.

Car was not too terrible in my eyes, front bonnet, headlight, front fender. Probably terrible in the guys eyes who owned it. Was parked a couple of cars up from mine before the session. Had a good look around it and it was damm nice.

one thing that confused me though(maybe wrong). It had an FQ330 badge on the side of it, but on the seats i am 100% sure it said FQ300.

Weather was **** hot for once, some nice machinery about as per usual. Me car was going well, although the brakes where **** poor. 4 laps and the pedal was like jelly, and flat to the board. They did not get much better than this, not impressed???

Glad to hear you enjoyed it Paul.

Once I got some instruction from John (EVOJKP) and I learned how to drive sort of, the brakes were no issue as I was hardly using them!!!

New pads'll sort it!

Many thanks to keevster for the pax lap.....my first time on track in a scooby...very impressive.

As for the Evo....I checked my video footage but I don't have anything worth reporting.

Just as I was getting to the brow of the hill on the straight...I could see him dive into Duffus....as I reached the brake board....the marshall on the right was waving the yellow flag and as I turned into duffus......the evo was nose first into the tyres just before McIntyre's.....just a few yards up from the marshall post on the left.

A damn shame.

Bummer - not too bad though!

Could have been totalled and looking at the damage the driver should be OK.

Yep, a good night at KH. Couldn't believe the weather!

Something went wrong on the drive home though.
Pulled out to pass 2 cars on the m8, just after a r/bout, everything was going fine until the car misfired and lost all power. Had to pull onto the hard shoulder with my hazards on to see if I could work out what was wrong. Dunno what it is, but the car shakes about like a mad thing now when idling.
Hope I haven't killed it!

norry.

Driving home from KH you are listening for every rattle, trying not to use the brakes etc, so when it starts to run rough it must be:

"Oh No!!" etc etc

Glad it was solved easily.

Just need asbestos lined gloves to push them back in without burning my hands!

It can get a bit hot in there.
