Default Drag Tyres

In the best tradition of last minute panics - I need a pair of drag tyres for Sunday, ideally a road legal variety, but given the timescale I'd settle for just about anything

They are for a 16" wheel with a maximum size of 245/50.

Anyone got / mates with someone who would be able to help out? I'm happy to pay 40-50 quid for a loan of them for the weekend.

Thanks, due to timescales it's not looking like I'll have the chance to swap tyre between wheels now, even if Andy could help. Tomorrow is looking like an interesting day - first time it will have turned a wheel in over 4 months and so much changed it couldn't even be driven on the current map if someone tried.

Thanks Moses, I did exchange e-mails with Nitto a few months back and they told me they were not interested in selling thei tyres to the UK, and the couple of US places we tried were just having a laugh with their delivery - 6 weeks or 300 USD and you can't arrange your owning shipping.

As it turns out I don't need them any more as my engine went today - stupid rotary lump of junk killed itself with no warning and for no reason. Almost 10psi at 4.5k rpm with an 11.3:1 AFR and with no det/knock it just said enough was enough and checked out. TOTB is now out the window gutted
