Anyone ever used Halleys for service or repairs?

Cheers.

I was going to get my timing belt changed by them until they quoted me £450 plus if I remember correctly. S&S Ayr did it for £253
To be fair to Halleys though, that was shortly after starting with the Subaru part of the dealership and they may have been quoting on the maximum the job could have cost, I don't know for sure.

I used them for my first 1k service. Took them a whole two hours twenty mins, for an oil change. Was looking for a couple of accessories, ie mats/wheel nuts. The guy at the parts department seemed a little confused to where he would obtain these items, but after 15minutes he decided no we dont have them.
Does not build confidence, but suppose what do you expect from Vauxhall parts people. Fair do's though they where not long started, but still, made my mind up to keep away from subaru dealerships, take to long and are too bloody expensive. Better finding yourself a good specialist back street garage, cheaper prices. But i suppose most people want that big shiny subaru stamp in there service book,(as it means sooooo much). No thanks.
