Funny how in 1998 it was OK for the same TV commentators to get excited when Man U managed the same feat to win the Champions League final in Barcelona yet tonight they were on the receiving end...

<Des Lynam voice>

Silvestre should have been sent off for bringing Rooney down, if he had it would have changed the whole game.

Now, where can I grasp some more straws?

Sven-Goran Eriksson was caught speeding leaving the stadium. When questioned he said he'd do anything for three points.

The man Zidane is a footballing genius and anything he can do to shove it right up the english press, pundits etc with all the references to Hurst, 1966, 3 lions, the battle of ashencour (spelling ?)... They bloody deserve all they got.

screamed myself hoarse in the pub..................never laughed so much when the english fans started chanting "Are You Scotland in Disguise"

NOT SO COCKY NO LADS
