Parking at Waverly (Edinburgh station)
I've got to go to Torquay later in the summer, and will go by train rather than car. What's the best place to park near the station? Would I be better off going from Carlisle in terms of ease/cost of parking?

The quick answer is there is no long stay parking close to the station.If it's just a couple of days, park in the crown plaza(holiday inn)hotel car park (just off the royal mile).Only two mins walk to the station from there.
If it's longer then park next to mine in Leith and I"ll keep an eye on it for u.
