hi AP,

was it the cupra or the cupra turbo??

i had the cupra turbo before ths scoob, nice cars with quick but smooth acceleration.....don't know if i should by another scoob and throw a few grand at it..i was also looking at at pulsar, another cupra turbo or a lotus elise, the only thing i'm wanting is to get the next car to over 300bhp ,scooby, pulsar gtir, cupra no probs there, but don't think it will be possible with the elise but with the weight of it and 200bhp under the bonnet, will make up for it surely

it was the cupra turbo. 300 bhp is certainly achievable if u spend some serious cash on it. Has been done before.

I think the new owner lives not far from me.. or is in the Bay quite alot.

I started seeing the Wagon about a couple of weeks ago ( would tie in with the time silverstrike sold it ). Gave him a wave a couple of times.

Don't think he's on ScoobyNet. If he is.... I take it you saw me in your rear view mirror on Wednesday night - when you dropped the gears and floored it !!

Nice looking and sounding car.

Cheers

davie,

apparently he lives in weymess bay, sold the car about 5 weeks ago, and yes that is the car, a minted silver scoobywagon with a powerflow zorst, i'm starting to regret selling it now ...but it wouldn't have been much use to at hthe momnent anyhow as i've done a disc in my back and done my ankle ligaments...was going to by a clio cup tonight just to get me about...if you want a laugh, when the salesman started up the clio he said "listen to that exhaust" my fiance just about had to pick me off the floor for laughter..nothing beats the scoobs then he went onto saying that they would murder a scoob at the start, he was slowly pushing me out the door with his p1sh......as i proceeded to tell him my mate has a 172...he shut up after that
