Decatted finally
Got the full magnex Decat carried out yesterday up at extreme in Whitburn.
In one word "magnifico". Really pleased with its performance. you can really feel the extra torque, even more so higher up the rev range, where i felt before that it died of death after 6000. noise wise, its fairly loud, but still tolerable on motorway cruise. would recommend it. just need to get it on the rollers now.

If you like the throbby flat four burble you'll like it. burnt a tank of petrol last night, thats how good the sound is. the sound gave me a bigger hard-- rather than the extra power.
John i'll see you at the hamilton meet.
Marc you'll need to get yourself down to KH at the next trackday.

Ive got full de-cat scooby sport and nave to agree with you both.Better noise better power delivery the works BUT..... I've heard some real horror stories on de-cat cars which end in bent con rods and 3k bills.Must say that I'm now seriously thinking and i stress thinking of going back to standard.Have you heard any of the nightmares ??

Paul, I dropped mine off with George this morning, to get the disks skimmed. General concensus was that your ride was sounding sweet as you pulled away

Paul, glad to hear you're getting on well with the scoob m8.
Curious to hear how loud your exhaust is, don't know if I want to make mine any louder, but I think it's the way forward to free up some more ponies.
norry.

its not to loud on tickover, or driving at sensible speeds, it only sings when the loud pedal is depressed to the board, then all hell breaks loose. its just not some peoples cup of tea, as my old man will tell me tommorow when i pick him up at the airport, but he is reaching his 60s.
RB5, i've heard the horror stories to about things going bang, it is quite worrying, but i suppose you take yer chances. i have had a couple of para trips already, thinking that i am hearing a pinking noise, when coming onto boost. hopefully its my imagination.
anyways happy at present, long may it continue, until i get that extra urge for more power, then **** it, i'll buy a plane. lol
