I remember some time ago there was a post critical of S&S and it seemed to be the opposite of my experiences. Credit where credit is due (and under warranty too!)

Good Morning.

I have a silver classic "w" plate although I was saying to John I may be calling on him in the not too distant future to source my next one. I usually acknowledge fellow Scooby drivers but being an old git I have to concentrate on the road more than I used to. What about your own car?

They turn their nose up at you if you have JDM import. Not pleasant at all, in fact quite rude.

It is out of order for any main dealer to behave like that. If they don't want your business they should just say so. If it was my dealership I would be thinking that you may require a UK car some day.

Did you get your name after after visiting S&S!

I was only there once, two years ago just after I first got the car. That experience put me off. Now I only use Greersport or Kenny Brown.

Hi Lad's

It has always been there policy that they don't deal with import's, that's going back 6 years now that i have known them, It's there decision at the end of the day. As for bad experiance i am shocked, never been treated like that .

But it's easy to say thing's against one dealer and stick to your own as that's your choice M8 but there have also been thing's said about the other 2 that you metioned but that wont stop people using them as they have there own opions and Veiw's.

As i said before they really CANT have been more Helpfull to me and my wife when needed.

Cheers Dougie

Yip your right there Dougster M8, But nae use to you as they dont supply fake Tan

Unfortunately for me there policy changed the day I went in and the took the work on, no problem at all. Wish they hadn't, cos they were useless
I suppose if someone came into my garage and spent £20k on a car, I would suck up there @rse too, just in case they fancied a change
Just my opinion though, please don't take offence peeps

I have to agree that silver is my choice too although I had a DBM wagon and really liked it but it showed the dirt quite badly IMHO.
I live in Glasgow and I'm fast approaching the big 50 but I have a young wife(or so she keeps telling me) and you know what they say.

A couple of years ago I saw a Terzo for sale on the Subaru web-site. I called and spoke with John and said I was going to fly up from down South to view it. I couldn't make it for a couple of days. John went beyond the call of duty and said that he would hold back the car until I came up to see/drive it. He was as good as his word, I flew up, drove it, made an offer which he accepted. I couldn't fault the service I got.

I have had the car now for 2 1/2 years, it's never missed a beat. Just before Christmas I had to go up North. I booked the car in for a Saturday morning and had it serviced at S & S. I turned up and handed over the car. I asked if he had a spare car I could have whilst mine was in, he handed me over the keys to a Mondeo and off we went. Don't think I would have had that service down here.

BTW, the car used to belong to Gordon Shek. Does he still visit these pages??

Oh yeah, Essex isn't exactly around the CORNER

Yip, still here but spend a bit more time on P1woc But I like to appear now and again to keep you all on your toes!

S & S hasn't done a thing wrong with me either. Top bloke is John Spicer with Keiren coming a close second. Then you've got Campbell and I would say you should try to avoid Brian at all costs. Not as enthusiastic as John and Kieren is all I'm going to say!

Cheers

Good to hear from you again. I take it you never sold the P1 then?

Time you got yourself a WR1 instead

A WR1!?!?!?!? Are you mental? I think I would get a EVO or a Skyline for that money!(only kidding!)

Nah, seriously, I would if I could but now I'm a happily married man, I have other priorities and it's not the car.

BTW guys, better choose your words carefully as I know for a fact that Lorna Rae (the beautiful S & S Receptionist) spends quite a bit of time on here, checking the place out. John Spicer also looks every now and again!
