Does anyone have a top Radiator Hose
AS above ........she had it yesterday when she says their was a puff of steam from the wee o/s vent , but it was wet wi puddles etc on road so I thought it would just water splashing u underneath......
But alas it wasni I was in it a wee while ago turned the heater up ,nothing but cold, ohh aye me thinks as i clock the temp gauge headin for the sky.Top hose has 5 mm split right at the jubilee clip going onto the block.
Reckon its done 30 miles whilst losing water, she didn't notice anything yesterday i.e. temp gauge rising ,but shes a woman !!! would CEL or any other warning light not have come on?
I've repaired to get it home, PDFE tape(white plumbers stuff)and super glue, held its temp for about 3 miles home.
Hope ti f*ck its not fried felt normal coming home but obviously was goin canny.
If any one has one (hose) localish to Livi gees a shout pleeeese.

hoses from moses!!
hi m8,
if i were you i would order a SET of samco hoses (moses does a good deal) as the hoses must be a bit fecked now when you consider how often the car has had engines in and out even i have lost count!!
