Did my country-bumpkin thing today and ventured into Edinburgh for an interview and guess what happened............
Didnt buy a ticket for parking and my car got impounded!!
£135 the *******! Nice fee for twenty minutes
Only got myself to blame I s'pose.

Hehe,
Lurking again Marky? Got the job in fact, start on monday! so not too bad, have to say thought it had been stolen when I first saw it wasnt there, then quickly realised what a spanner i was! Had to walk away from the traffic warden after I got the phone number off him, he was a right smug barsteward Wanted to plant one on his smug little face. Although the foreign taxi driver fair cheered me up on the way to the pound, think of "Lubka" in "taxi" n u will get the idea

LOL Dougster! Might let someone try it before I do - just to see if they crush instead.
Dougie - me? lurking? No way......well ok, maybe a bit Well done on getting the job - pleased for you mate! Atleast that takes the sting out the free uplift of the car.
Lupka (or however you spell it) - was he the we mental one with a squeaky voice? He'd cheer anyone up.
What this planting one on the parking attendant - outrageous! You should phone some mates round and make proper meet out of it. Doing it yourself is selfish
Hows the car running anyway......when its on the tarmac I mean.

Lol
Best fuel consumption figures in 5 and a half years of owning it, and I wisnae even there! Still running well, gone over 200,000km now and still seems sweet as a nut. Suspensions gettin a bit tired tho' I must admit, as it seems to be wandering a bit more than it used to. Hows yours goin? Is the new engine runnin well?
Will probably need to get rid of it in the next few months to get somethin a bit more economical for the trek into Edinburgh every day Will see how I get on first.
Yep Lupka was the one with the squeeky voice, was p1ssin my pants listen to him talk.
Lol@Dougster, an ambulance with no tax or reg plate, will be writing to my local MP
