back to dealers again!!!
they say faults come in three's,cold start problem-no fix as yet, brake squeal-fixed,and now the n/s/rear shocker is knocking!! car booked in for wed this week at S&S, hopefully it will be sorted ASAP.dealers said "QUITE A COMMON FAULT ON WRX's BUT NOT SO MUCH ON STi 8's". anyone else had any of these faults & any cured?
Del
PS.the brake fault was fixed using some sort of priming agent on pads, seemingly my car was first to have this tried on ,so if anyone else has this problem get onto your dealer.

Too expensive!

Motortrade Block Exemption laws have changed! Cars under warranty do NOT have to be serviced by the Franchised dealers anymore. Any qualified garage is allowed to do the work without affecting the warranty. The vehicle only has to go back to the dealer for warranty work or recalls.
The reason that I can say this with absolute certainty is that as a proprietor of a Bosch Service Agent, not affiliated with any manufacturer, we now service cars for most leasing companies. Most of them won't allow us to use OE parts either. Leasing companies specify OE specification parts like Bosch, Unipart etc.
If you are not happy with the franchised dealer, use a garage of your choice and possibly get a better service!!
