what exactly is happening when you back off coulty? i get a pop sometimes from exhaust when backing off from full throttle, didn't think anything of it, just thought it was due to a rich mixture.

I am in fife so it's hardly worth the trip as all they are is ear defenders , with garden hose, a metal "T" , and a bit of copper pipe with the end banged flat with a hole drilled in it to bolt to the block.

I got a bit of copper pipe(6") that the garden hose could be forced up the inside of. flatten one end and bolt to block.pull any foam out the defenders and drill a hole slightly smaller than the O/D of the garden hose for each ear.push the hose through the passenger footwell's grommet and stick in in the copper pipe. stick two shorter lengths of garden hose to defenders and join all the ends together with the "T".

Johnny i am getting the KL lighting up ie lift-off det. I just wanted to make sure it is true det and not just a vibration.

T-UK i regularly (2-3 times a week) drive up to dundee so i am not too botehred about coming to fife if i need to see what this problem is.
