I am now the proud owner of a MY99 Silver Subaru Impreza Turbo!!

Test drive =

Its got a full de-cat exhaust, induction kit (very noisey), 17" Prodrives, a fair bit of ICE with it, IMO it looks like its got lowered suspension, but not sure... Cant wait til I get it!!

Just waiting for the DVLA to get their fingers out and sort out changing my Private Reg from my old car.

Thankyou for everyones help, cant wait to see you boys at the Tayside meet, I can park my Scoob next to yours!!

If anyone sees a Silver Classic with the reg B** GDF then be sure to give me a flash and a wave...

Cheers,
Grant

P.S - I'm pretty damn happy at the moment...

Cool

Glad to hear youve seen sence and bought a decent car grant.
If your getting your motor serviced I would take it to errol, prices are better than T&C and the guys attitude was a lot more mod friendly as well.

Thanks guys...

Johnny, today was good, but cold!!

Coulster........ Cheeky ******, the RS was a decent enough car!!

I thought that Errol was alright, but a mates dad took his Scoob to them and somebody took it out, thrashed it, and ended up crashing it - requiring new wheels, suspension parts and a couple of panels?!

The guys @ T&C seem like they will be alright with mods too, even said that MOT's should be alright, despite the de-cat!!

I'll get some pics up when I pick it up, and stop driving it long enough to take some photos!!

Cheers,
Grant

hehe

yeah you seemed pretty sure that you were gonna go for it on fri night - twas the weee twinkle in your eye - was it the antics of between whitelightenning and me that swayed your mind:

make sure u call me the minute you go to collect it - i must see and take a picture of your face! - not to mention the banter for the journey home!!! will ddc now have a "pair" of hardcore 4wd cruisers?

Grant, grant, grant.........what have you done!

You should have gone that wee bit further and bought the evo but we all make mistakes... lol!

I really am glad you've got yourself a new weapon. Bet it was tough to see the RS go tho? I still see mine a lot.......dented doors, chappy engine and scratched paintwork......glad to see the owner keeps it in the condition he got it in!!!

Anyway, i look forward to seeing the scoob. Drop me a line next time you're up this way and we can meet up.

Cheers

James

JohnnyR6

We'll see what its like running a Scoob compared to an S2, but I think its going to be alot more satisfying?!

Nyquist,

Nah, reason I got it was more that it was a good deal, and the car is in great condition.... and the deal was pretty sweet too!!

I'll give you a shout when I'm back in Dundee with it mate, and we can meet up. Then you can take a picture of my face, cause I doubt the smile will fade for a week or so...

Dunno about cruising, but it will be out and about...

James,

Let me just silghtly ammend what you said, to what I think you meant...

You should have gone that wee bit further and bought MY EVO but we all make mistakes... lol!
hehe

I'll give you a shout when I am up your way mate, would be good to meet up.. Its been a while!!

I still have the RS (if anyone is interested... ), I part ex'd my mondeo in against the Scooby! Just waiting for the private reg to transfer over.....

Sorry to hear that you're old RS isnt getting treated well, it was mint when you had it...

Bluenose,

I'm sure that I'll be having lots of fun by next weekend!! Bonus is that I should have it by the Tayside or One Big Meet so I can show it off to you guys...

Cheers,
Grant
