Ive just had to take my MY03 WRX back to the dealer to get the gearbox stripped down and fixed...a pain in the **** to start with. But what a beast of a courtesy car i got in return!!! sadly no....its not an STi......its a....wait for it.....
Dhiatsu Cuore.....oh yeah, you better believe it.....
Im sure the word courtesy was switched to pain somewhere!!!

Almost as bad as the 1.2 corsa they gave me when my 01WRX went in for the 3rd time in 2 weeks to have the indicators fixed. Made a big fuss as I've only had the car 6 weeks and the sales manager gave me another WRX he had on the front for sale

Watch the torque steer on those beasts, and keep your eye on the speedo, top end power is phenomenal, so much as sneeze and you can go from 70 to 100+ in no time at all.
Also keep TCS on as it wheelspins violently in 5th.
On a serious note, driving a crap car for a bit does have the advantage that when you get back into your own car, it feels superb

Taking my MY02 to the garage I had a choice of courtesy car. And it was so diffcult to decide. I mean what a choice a Nissan Micra or a Ford Ka. They actually asked me what I'd prefer, "for you to take a little time as possible on my car" was my answer.

Try a Nissan Micra 1.1 Automatic ... I put my foot down last week and am still waiting for the power! f.in useless!
Funnily enough I was driving home in the above baked bean and spotted a whole 'cru' of blokes admiring their fully bodykitted up Micras - how small did I feel!

I had a Punto as a loaner once - brand new, 50 or so miles on the clock - I took it back after 3 days as I had "collapsed" the suspension - whatever it was broken...

What's wrong with a Diahatsu Cuore??
I had a right laugh when I rented one.
But that was because I could thrape the nuts off it without breaking the speed limits and using f-all fuel in the process
And that buzzy 3 cylinder engine sounds better than my Qualcast Quadtrack
Be thankful it wasn't a Fiat Seichento

Its funny that most people have forgotten that the courtesy car is just that a 'courtesy'. They don't call it the expected car........
Therefore what ever car it is doesn't really matter, remember its offered as a favour to you to help you get about your business. The car is free and beggars can't be choosers after all.
