Let me know the venue guys I'll be there
Last year when I pulled the Monkton meet together, I felt that due to the time of year, it was nice to have the kids along and give MrsO a break for a bit, I'm sure I'm not hte only one who would appreciate this.
There's a reasonable 'Brewers Fayre' place over at 'The Pheonix' behind the cinema, which would be a good venue.
PS. Gump, You'll have seen me around, I'm sure.

3 reasons I would avoid the Phoenix :
1. Would probably need armed guards standing over the car park ... wonderful "locals" would probably think Christmas has come again ( or early depending when meet is )!
2. ( Neds ,kappa trackies , puffa jaykets )x TOO MANY !
3. It's too close to me to appreciate a good drive as I pass it every fekin' day !
What about Ayr ? Isn't there one at the main roundabout ? Anyone know Dumbarton/Helensburgh way ? Or Greenock ?

Monkton could be a good run again.

There is a brewers fair at West Kilbride right on the shore front. Not to far from Saltcoats so some nice runs, could go up over the Heally Brae to Dalry then over to Kilbirnie and down the nice flowing roads to Largs and into the hotel/carparks on the shore front.
Dalry road is single track unfenced moor road very nice..

Monkton sounds good to me. Or how about a pub meet at the Ship Inn at Irvine? Foods good and plenty of parking.
And don't forget the wee extra activity I took a few of the guys to at the end of last years meet. Seemed to go down well with the people that attended. I also remember we got told off for mentioning it on here. (If you don't know what I'm on about, email me)
The holiday time isn't far away so how about the regional organiser (Dougster, your the man) making a decision on the date and venue and we'll all attend.

Glasgow/Ayrshire meet.
Tarbert is Argyll and Bute ffs!!
If we are going there, I'm taking a shortcut and going in Drum
Monkton I think. I am back next Saturday but will be in detox , then working following two weekends.
How about Sunday the 28th to blow some Xmas cobwebs off the cars.
Friends, family and neebours welcome.
How about a present swap of what you didn't like, or what bits you got lying around? First SIDC boot sale?
