Sorry to be the prophet of doom but BEAR are bound to close the frikking thing for loadsa repairs, if it ever re-opens after the inspection that is....cue "woe, woe and thrice woe".

Does anyone know if the Brig o' Dee is still closed ? (or more to the point if it'll be closed in the morning).
I heard that on Friday, there was an accident which knocked a fair chunk of the parapet into the river. The bridge was closed for the rest of the day for structural checks.
I'm having a look at the AA / RAC sites now but nothing yet. I'l check Northsound shortly.

It's back open again, I was scrambled to my folks place in Drumoak with an urgent IT problem 
earlier tonight went over and back over the Brig o' Dee and they've stuck some concrete blocks at the section that has been knocked into the River Dee. EE link to the story.
