Ring wmv

Excellently put together lap of the 'Ring.

Not the fastest scoob ever to go round but one worth saving if you fancy the trip.

Is there any PS2 game that has the full 'Ring circuit included??

Met the guy at Easter, whilst over with the other Scottish Elisers...

Tidy driver, and managed to keep up with one of the Elise's running 145bhp/track suspension/brakes...(The Legacy is a *non* turbo 113bhp model!)

Took my friend out for a lap, and was very impressive apparently...

His future plans are to fit a Legacy Turbo engine, but he can't afford the insurance at the mo' as he's only late teens/early twenties!!

Good vid, and good to see him using the 'Crusher' tune off the new JXL album as a soundtrack...

There ain't any PS2 games featuring the 'ring...(GT3 has 'elements' of it in trial mountain...)

Grand Prix Legends is the only one I can think of for the PC...But it's bloody difficult!!

Cheers,

Ross.

(Edited for the PS2 bit...)

Looked a bit sedate compared to Stefan in his porker. His steering input suggested a quite Sunday drive No opposite lock correction; tut, tut

Looked very smooth IMHO, never realised how long the RING is... try remembering the entire sequence of turns, quite a feat.

Wink

Yep - It takes aaaages to learn...I've been going for 3 years, and driven 50-60 laps/had 100+ pax laps, and have only really strung it together on my 2nd visit this year...

Knowledge is power - I loved humbling big hp Porkers and the like with my weenie 120bhp Elise...

P.S Stefan Roser is something else - Stefan and Ruf were at the 'ring the other week to shoot 'Yellowbird Part 2', with a mad CTR2 (or something...)...Unfortunately it broke down before the managed a proper lap!

Not sure when they'll be back, but be sure to get a copy of the vid when they do!
