Spooks sorry mate but you would not even have kept up with techno tonight! That was the best 60+mile trip I have had in the car to date. Don't know the guy's name with the Elise but that was a great route to pick. RB5 from Balloch, you nearly run out of gas because most of it was coming out the back of your exhaust in the form of flames and scorching my motor! Great meeting guys see you all next month. Zander I think you better invest in new front pads, although the smoke did help to keep the midges away

smashin night, what a run, totally unplanned, there the best ones anyway, was supposed to stop at the fintry inn for refreshments but got so carried away i was way past fintry before i remembered. final destination was the famous dukes pass, trance gave me a good run for my money, he must have been practicing as i could not shake him of, loads of quality driving, understeer, oversteer and airborn moments, constant sqealing of tyres on every bend, luckily we all lived to tell the tale. a small run in with plod early on but no big deal.
anyway, group buy tyres an brakes anyone..........
was funny seeing so many smokin brakes in the last car park.
best glasgow meet yet i would say.

Agree totally with everyone's comments about it being a great night. That was mega fun .
Wouldn't fancy those roads on a sunny Sunday though!
The road surface wasn't as bad as I thought either, except for the craters on the hairpins and the odd horse and kart trail!
Fab route overall and it was far enough out that we weren't bothering anyone either. Well apart from Trucker Ted (aka Farmer Ted) who was checking out the cattle at any opportunity only joking mate. Still love those neons in the footwells by the way.
Trance-ur Lexus lights looked the business mate. Some of the cosmetic mods on the other cars were pretty cool as well.
It's always nice to see some new faces at these meets, the more the merrier. So big waves to AJ, Coulty & the late comer in the silver wagon (sorry, didn't get ur name)and anyone else I may have missed out.
Hopefully see you all at next Months meet. AJ's making the sannies!
Cheers

dougster, think it was ed-209, where is your work, some school or somethin if i remember right ?.
good to see everybody enjoyed last night, not often you get a run like that organised and even less with a sunny evening.
me an trance were a bit die hard and went for another blast back down fintry way until the wee small hours, great fun.
prob see ya's later in the year with a few more horses for the straights.

wicked night. though i do have to say, as i've never drove a motor like that before, it was a bit daunting at times, but at least i've done. just like getting the motor off the ground, you have to do it at least once in your life! if not, you hate yourself forever.

Chris, my school is on the Fintry to Killearn road. You may have passed the gatehouse and then turned right through Balfron to go towards Aberfoyle.
We could organise a meet there sometime. Nice old castle and grounds.
