LG John 08 July 2003 10:36 PM

Is that Steven in the clio with his hands on the windows ..............that kid never learns :D

rickydiver 08 July 2003 11:21 PM

Spooks sorry mate but you would not even have kept up with techno tonight! ;) That was the best 60+mile trip I have had in the car to date. Don't know the guy's name with the Elise but that was a great route to pick. RB5 from Balloch, you nearly run out of gas because most of it was coming out the back of your exhaust in the form of flames and scorching my motor! Great meeting guys see you all next month. Zander I think you better invest in new front pads, although the smoke did help to keep the midges away :)
Ricky.

skyenet 08 July 2003 11:22 PM

I behaved myself driving home after the "2 Fast 2 Furious". Good meeting everybody again.

drb5 08 July 2003 11:32 PM

munch, munch. god i'm starving. thanks again rickydiver! crazy drivin from everyone i have to say. never driven mine like that before. munch, munch. next time i'll have more fuel to burn and hopefully better tyre's!

Dougster 08 July 2003 11:46 PM

What roads did you take and did you go by my work?

I wasn't in anyway as I went to the Hot Marques night at KH!!

rickydiver 08 July 2003 11:53 PM

Dont know the name of the roads as I was too far from home! We went through Fintry drove up a big hill and ended up going over the dukes pass ,there you go 40 miles discribed in a sentence ;)

chrisyd 09 July 2003 12:00 AM

smashin night, what a run, totally unplanned, there the best ones anyway, was supposed to stop at the fintry inn for refreshments but got so carried away i was way past fintry before i remembered. final destination was the famous dukes pass, trance gave me a good run for my money, he must have been practicing as i could not shake him of, loads of quality driving, understeer, oversteer and airborn moments, constant sqealing of tyres on every bend, luckily we all lived to tell the tale. a small run in with plod early on but no big deal.

anyway, group buy tyres an brakes anyone..........

was funny seeing so many smokin brakes in the last car park.

best glasgow meet yet i would say.

chrisyd 09 July 2003 12:04 AM

AJ, how are you posting the above pics these days, an nice 2 have met you earlier, even though i did not realise who you were.

Amanda-Jane 09 July 2003 04:10 AM

Thru my msn group page then just load up the pic and right click on it and copy over the full properties. Must be easy as I can do it!

I thought I introduced myself to everyone, sorry. :)

AJ

trance 09 July 2003 03:36 PM

Yeah, good blast last night. Good to see even techno reaching some of his cars potential there!! :D Think the group buy on brake pads is not a bad idea!!.

Zander,
nice sound your dump v/v makes mate!!.

see ya all next time!!.

Trucker Ted 09 July 2003 04:32 PM

Good to meet everyone once again,but,...........that drive was something else!

That wasn't a drive that was a tarmac rally.Excellent cars and excellent driving,i now remember why i fitted the roll-cage:)

Until the next Subaru convention officer!:D

zander 09 July 2003 07:32 PM

Aye good night once again nice to meet every one.My pads r still smoking i think lol . see u all next time

Techno 09 July 2003 08:27 PM

Agree totally with everyone's comments about it being a great night. That was mega fun :D:D:D.

Wouldn't fancy those roads on a sunny Sunday though:eek:!

The road surface wasn't as bad as I thought either, except for the craters on the hairpins and the odd horse and kart trail!
Fab route overall and it was far enough out that we weren't bothering anyone either. Well apart from Trucker Ted (aka Farmer Ted) who was checking out the cattle at any opportunity;) only joking mate. Still love those neons in the footwells by the way.

Trance-ur Lexus lights looked the business mate. Some of the cosmetic mods on the other cars were pretty cool as well.

It's always nice to see some new faces at these meets, the more the merrier. So big waves to AJ, Coulty & the late comer in the silver wagon (sorry, didn't get ur name)and anyone else I may have missed out.

Hopefully see you all at next Months meet. AJ's making the sannies!

Cheers
J

Dougster 09 July 2003 08:36 PM

Was the silver wagon ed-209?

Scooby fog covers? :D

Did you go past my work on the Fintry Road?

chrisyd 09 July 2003 09:26 PM

dougster, think it was ed-209, where is your work, some school or somethin if i remember right ?.

good to see everybody enjoyed last night, not often you get a run like that organised and even less with a sunny evening.

me an trance were a bit die hard and went for another blast back down fintry way until the wee small hours, great fun.

prob see ya's later in the year with a few more horses for the straights.

drb5 09 July 2003 09:53 PM

wicked night. though i do have to say, as i've never drove a motor like that before, it was a bit daunting at times, but at least i've done. just like getting the motor off the ground, you have to do it at least once in your life! if not, you hate yourself forever.

opelcorsa 09 July 2003 10:50 PM

Looks like i missed a great night,as for getting some air over the jumps i have to say i will beat you all on Sunday, roumor has it there is a jump on one of the stages that can get the car around 6feet in the air so long as you take it about 95mph+.!!!!!!!!!

You need big b**locks to do that.Jist as well mines is wee.

catch up with you all when we get back from Ireland.

Dougster 09 July 2003 10:50 PM

Chris, my school is on the Fintry to Killearn road. You may have passed the gatehouse and then turned right through Balfron to go towards Aberfoyle.

We could organise a meet there sometime. Nice old castle and grounds.

ed_209 10 July 2003 06:47 PM

Yeh it was me with scooby fog covers. Nice to meet you all. some of you I already had meet before. minted night. my poor old 2 pots are still smoking.

Ed

trance 12 July 2003 07:55 PM

cheers techno on the lights.
Good to hear all enjoyed......next time!!!

coulty 14 July 2003 12:08 AM

Ed your car wasn't the only one with two pots that were smoking! As trance can confirm he was sniffing mine!

coulty

ed_209 14 July 2003 12:36 AM
