if you fancy fixin it a little...just so it doesn't stand out so bad when your cruisin(no offense) try and get a heat gun or very powerful hairdryer, heat it up quite a fair wee bit and try pushing it out from BEHIND! and voila, it'll come out no bother. might not get rid of it completely, but something's better than nothing. don't blame me if it all goes pear shaped! ha, ha, ha.

You must be gutted...
My sister impaled her car on something (i forget what it was) some time ago now and acheived a similar effect, ye olde man pushed it out as described above.
Hope it's fixed soon and at not too much cost/hassle for yourself. At least it'll be possible to tell your car apart from Johns now... Sorry, no consolation...

Thanks folks - I wasn't looking for rafts (sic) of sympathy ... but it's nice nonetheless
**** happens ... it always will ! ...
... but there's always a positive to be taken from any situation
On Tuesday, the car will go in to T&C.
There will be a list of things for them to fix. All of the items really are pissing me off - the fact is that I'm fed up with the car !
Some days (weeks ) later I'll get it back and I'll love it again
Keep it real guys

B&stards. Have you had an estimate for getting it repaired?
My P1 has exactly the same wound at the minute (a young bird hopped her car into the back of it at the petrol station a few weeks ago after starting hers in gear). Bill for new bumper fitted is £480.
