Guys,

Only saw two Scoobies on the track tonight ! WTF ?!?!

I saw a fair few round about the track though including a nice STi8 *** GAV and an RB5

CTR turnout was excellent ( I know this is a Scooby site but a mention for the CTR's is warranted IMHO). We had about 8 cars in and out of the open pit and a few expensive cars were given a run for their money out there. If any of you were spectating then you'll have seen a black one giving it BIG licks on the corners.

I think at least 3 CTR's will be changing out their blistered tyres tommorow after receiving major abuse . I got a few pax laps and have the soiled undies & MPEGS c/w sound to prove the CTR's worthiness as a quality track day car.I strongly believe tonite raised the profile of the humble CTR.

Great weather and a cracking day......looking forward to the SIDC track day.... How this hell did the two Peugeot get on etrack - they were quick ( Mi16's ? )but their value can be no where near £10k mark

Still in awe of the flat four burble though !!

Cheers

Calum

You guys did fantastic. Got a pax lap in a red one and it was great. Another red one gave the Exige I was in later a run for its money. Well impressed. Will post up some pics tomorrow taken form video footage. Need to get to bed now.

Those Peugeots are Turbos, the guy with the Peugeot overalls is from Eccosse Peugeot...probably why they were fast.

I turned up with Bluenose, we were both parked nearby, (reddish blue 5dr and a Blue bugeye) but we were gutted by the lack of Scoobs on the track.

CTR turnout was good though. They did a grand job lastnight.

Was going to say hi to some of the Scooby drivers..but there was nobody around at the time.

And who was that old guy in the Blue Elise ?? He was keen..looks like his car had seen a bit of action too !

Thumbs up

It was a pretty good turn out last night - good to see some different cars on the track

More CTR's than you could shake a stick too Managed a p/x lap with mad Donald in his black CTR which was fun

Johnny - the old guy in the Elise was Tut, one of the more famous Elise drivers

Caught up with a group of CTR's just at Powmill and was hoping for a bit of sport on the way home, but unfortunately they all turned right as I went left

They were 405's.

According to the Knockhill website. Cars entering in a Hot Marques evening must have a current minimum value of 10k.

Also...there was a Seat Ibiza on lastnight too...was a bit old..cant see that being worth 10k !

Meant to ask..

Whos's was the 22b that was kicking about ?

I went back to have a look at it, but it had moved down to Duffus.
Pity it never went on the track.

The Skyline leads a 160 Sport Elise, a Type R and the Exige into Duffas. The Skyline was very rapid up the straight as he was a bit wide at the hairpin behind the Type R and the Elise and yet managed to get ahead of them on the straight The other cars were all going flat out down the straight. Was very impressive from my view in the Exige.

The race to Duffas !!. Passing allowed on either side so it did get a bit hectic at times. Very fast pace all round last night, not for the fient hearted I would say.

Good to see folk acting sensibly at the hairpin.

P.S. "Lame turnout" because the CTR drivers had booked almost 20% of the spaces. Boogers!
