from the Evening Times
"Two further suspects appeared in a blue coloured Subaru Imprezza, entered the cash Transit van, and threatened the three members of staff.
"Firearms were brandished, but not discharged.
"The suspects then made off with a six-figure sum of money in a red Vauxhall Vectra – driven by a fourth man – in the direction of Burnside Road.
"The three members of staff in the cash van were badly shaken but uninjured as a result of their ordeal."
The Subaru car and JCB digger were recovered at the scene.
The Vectra was later found burned-out in a lane behind a shopping precinct in Cathkin's Braemar Road, about a mile away.

Apparently the Scoob was stolen from Edinburgh on March 26.
Wouldn't the Scoob have made a better getaway car then the Vectra? Maybe they didn't want to damage the Scoob.

The Evening Times seem to have changed their story
TWO stolen vehicles were being examined today as police stepped up the hunt for an armed gang who robbed a security van of more than £500,000.
The gang, armed with shotguns, used a JCB digger to force the security van off the road after guards had picked up the cash at the Bank of Scotland in Burnside, near Glasgow.
And detectives revealed that one of the getaway cars, a high-powered and distinctive Subaru Impreza, that was found burned-out 10 minutes after the robbery, had been stolen in Edinburgh two weeks ago.
The blue-coloured car, with the notable registration number S118ARU, was snatched in the capital on March 26.
The JCB, abandoned at the scene, was stolen from Uddingston Bowling Club, Lanarkshire, hours before the robbery early yesterday morning.
Detective Inspector Del Ingram, who is leading the hunt for the armed gang, said today: "We are anxious to learn where the Subaru has been for the last two weeks.
"And the JCB, stolen sometime after 6pm on Wednesday, was driven from Uddingston to Rutherglen."
Police also believe a taxi driver stopped his car at the scene and watched the ram raid take place in Stonelaw Road, Rutherglen.
They are appealing to him to come forward.
The raiders drove the JCB into the side of the security van and pushed it across the road – with the three terrified guards still inside.
They had just uplifted the money from the bank and had secured the cash in the van.
But they were forced at gunpoint to release the cash boxes after the van was pushed through the window of a shop on the other side of the street.
The Brinks guards were uninjured but left badly shocked by their ordeal.
The four men in the gang fled in the Subaru and a red Vauxhall Vectra, which has not yet been found, leaving the JCB at the scene.
The robbery was the second such raid in the Glasgow area this week.
Two men escaped with around £60,000 after attacking a security van delivering cash to a Tesco supermarket in Milngavie on Monday.
Police could not immediately rule out a link and are checking how both were carried out to see if there are any similarities.
• A threatened three-day strike over Easter by thousands of security guards has been called-off after an agreement was reached.
Guards who supply hole-in-the-wall machines with cash had agreed to strike in protest at plans to cut cash delivery teams.
