Great surprise when I woke to the sun today and to get nearly three hours of dry track was great. Even stayed on for the wet stuff and was behind the silver Elise that went off in a shower of mud, just about scratched my new paintwork. Thouroughly enjoyed it and managed to capture some more Scoobys on Video, even though Elises kept springing up everywhere.
Highlight of the day was a pax lap round with Paul in his P1. Very entertaining and many thanks, god knows what he would have been like in the wet. The P1 made short work of most Elise, even though they seemed to appear in droves. We were comming down the straight when no less than five blue ones appeared from the pit lane. Pity there was not much else on the track at the time.
Many thanks to JohnS for all the organisation and to Numptie for his Passenger's Welcome/Newbie stickers. A few people commented to me that they had got quite a few Pax laps because it was easier to approach people because the were displaying the stickers.
Oh, nearly forgot to mention that I kept my smartie pointing in the right direction all day, for a change.

John,
Yes as always an oustanding day. Shame I missed the rain, however by time swapped back to road legal's and off for some fuel decided was time to get down to the bike show.
Great day and no major incidents

Even Telletubbies were taking advantage of the clear "Passenger's Welcome" stickers
Paul concentrating on his line as he gets his P1 back onto the track comming out of Clarks
Mud seemed to be attracted to yellow cars during the day (except mine)

Iain,
Was it a W reg one? If so, that would probably have been me driving my friend Alan Prothero's Elise. In hindsight, it was probably not the cleverest thing I've done to try driving an Elise out for the first time on a freshly wet track with cold tyres.....
At least it seems that all of you Elise boys are used to spinning them so I don't feel so bad about it now

It was indeed yourself. Spectacular, and didn't even catch it on video. Dark conditions inside the car (roof on for a change) cause the bullet camera to overexpose outside stuff which was a pity.

I seemed to have the opposite problem where with the roof off, my bullet cam seemed to be over-exposed I resorted to a handheld recorded few laps with Alan.
BTW, whose is that Yellow and somewhat muddy Elise? I've got that on video facing the wrong way, on the grass just after Clark
