Patio might not be the best as the car park is right beside the cruising circuit, but our doug_seiv I'm sure will keep an eye on it. As a hotel, at work we tend to put visitors up there, without any complaints. In fact, I've stayed there a couple of times when out on the **** before I lived in the town.
There's a Travelodge on Union St which has private underground parking, it's also a stones throw from the Belmont Street area of pubs. And as its a Travelodge shouldn't be too ££££. At the other end of the market, somewhere like the Atholl Hotel on Kingsgate is £££ but in a quiet safe area of the city.
Also, the Simpson Hotel on Queen's Road is ok money wise so I believe, in nice surroundings.
I should be available at the weekend for a beer or 10.
