Question

Anyone know when the first Knockers SIDC or Hot Marques event of 2003 is?

It's not the same without a regular dose of Knockers action

Cool

happy new year guys

Sam,if you have 400 bhp yet then I will just leave you to Andy,he will be limited to 4500rpm for 1000miles,so should lead to some close racing between you

Sam would I have a go at you?

if I was having a go I would have said "I will just leave you to AlanG",but since he has only had an 8lap practice, thought that would be a bit cruel .or even with a few more track days under his belt JB.

you are right though ,a 400bhp EVO would be in another league to a 250ish bhp scoob,I would need at least 325bhp to keep up with you now .will just have to look for alternative standard EVO's to play with .will try not to get in your way too much.

alan G maybe but when his car is close to mine i will make sure i will not attend the same track day as him but i have got a big margin just now

JB needs a lot to keep up! i remember you keeping up with him at one point when you were giving 60bhp away i think you over took him as well

as for you keeping your car standard, well i don't belive it for a second . i suspect you will have 300bhp+ at some point soon.

but it is still not enough.

don't underestimate JB,he is turning out to be a hooligan .if he drives me anywhere these days, the passenger side seems to have a brake too,I've even started wearing a seatbelt when he's driving .do not think he has had the new turbo on track.

Alan was saying your car was flying just now, think this will be good year, with plenty gear-box killing fun

Hmmmm......
< thinks what went wrong last year.....>

Brakes faded after 2 laps.....solution?...AP 6's with 330mm discs.

Turbo blows up.... solution?...fire a big one! on!!...

Not quick enough....solution?...get the boost right up there!!

If it blows , it blows.....

Yes I am slow, but I have enjoyed my four trackdays so far even though I am very cautious. Barrel rolling a car on one occasion is enough for me Knockhill tyre walls and gravel traps are not somewhere I want to visit.

T-uk should be some excellent sport for you this year Sam, car and driver. I will watch from a safe distance behind you both for a while whilst I can keep up

what do you mean by barrel rolling the car once?

i am sure he will be, you are confirming what i am guessing though about him modding his car in an indirect kinda of way

T-UK
don't really know what you mean by that thread? remember the first couple of times i took my car to knockhill it was standard before the dawes even. and you managed to keep up with me on the straights pretty well.

i don;t have big break HP figures. maybe i will but is that my fault?

i am getting bored of track days and not doing any(yes I saw the smilies )

quote from that thread

Take a leaf out of the few on here...Gaz, DaveD, Sam, Blade, Rosco, Dale....who are all men !!!!

your famous,a real man,you will never stop, even without the smilies meaning you were joking.

just wanted to bait some of those modding pussies on here who decat, remap this and that, drive like a loons on the road but do not have the bottle to do it on track.

hi Dougie,

are you going on...........,oh your not!

Sam,

since JB has yet again opened his trap and landed me in it ,yes the car is getting a few mods.

I must add,I will be running a turbo as fitted to a standard subaru.I will have suspension to try and keep the panels straight this year ,I think the standards have been pushed far enough.I will have a larger cooler to keep it safer on track.

you work the rest out yourself

Sam I had quite a big crash just before I got the Subaru, and have changed my habits rather, so far I have not crashed the Subaru. We all need to be a bit careful, getting it wrong can harm your health seriously It is picking your own risk:fun ratio.

Dear John Harley

That must mean i have to get taken out for a few passenger laps this year then M8.

Since that's the only way i is going to see the full track.

Dougie+Diana(Why should i change, that means some 1 else gets your attention)

thanks Sam,you just saved us all some cash,if that is all your doing we do not need to spend as much to keep up

you sure 2.2l will be enough?,we all thought you would have been going 2.5 or even 2.7 just to make sure .

Andy, doubt you need anything fancy if thats all he is doing, save some cash and throw a standard piston back in .
