the other twin 5 spoke wrx 96/97? in silver with no tyres and not so good condition.
MY99 ecu (WRX type RA, non sti) suitable for TEK tinkering?

Ok guys,
mail me at stephea1@bp.com with your offers and where you want the MAF sent to....if I can dig the MAF out that is...can't remember where I left it. If I can find it I'll pay for postage, it won't break the bank.
Numptie,
I've got an old elise as a track hack now, has had a bit of work done to it in the engine department. S947+++ is the reg. lovely subtle norfolk mustard (yuk) If I recall the previous owner is from Alloa, definately Scotland anyway, may even have shared a few laps at some time. Anyway, the elise was running like a dog, but it does start, idle and run reasonably well now at least. Have a feeling it might be down to mapping to exploit it's best...fault was initially down to fuel tank/ system being full of crap and ****ty injectors. I think the mapping may have been done while the fuel circuit wasn't 100%, so I'm looking for a DTA expert now that's been sorted out.
I'm sure Tut was running a DTA ECU at one point, he's just along the road from me so I'll pay him a visit some time to get a few pointers.
Right now I'm sort of regretting getting rid of the scoob, but I wanted a completely different driving experience and the elise was a cheapie, I went into it with my eyes open. Once I have a bit of spare time I can do a bit of tinkering and bring it up to scratch.
It's certainly much much slower than the old Pob mobile right now, I can't see it ever being as quick!
My scoob is now for sale at Warrender if anyone's interested. (T555ALS)
Hope to see you on track next year Numptie (if I'm still allowed since I've switched stables)
All the best for New year,
Al
